Located in the oldest part of the town and the only one of the four gates into the walled enclosure still conserved in its original state. The gate used to lead to Camí dels Ollers, bordering the defence wall until Bous square, and to the path running down to the vegetable gardens and the mill. This is at the bottom of Carrer del Forn.

The origin of the name of this street must respond to the existence of an oven now unused, which still remains in a house on this street.
