On Sunday, December 1st, Poeta Ruyra square in Hostalric will be the setting for the CHRISTMAS MARKET, REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE.

The Christmas Market REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE will have the guiding thread of raising awareness among visitors about the need to think before consuming, especially in these pre-Christmas dates, which is to encourage consumerism in all possible ways, without taking into account that not we need to stop buying and sharing gifts with our relatives and friends but from a vision as sustainable as possible. And what better way to understand and integrate sustainable changes in our day-to-day life, than to have the opportunity to meet already consolidated brands or other emerging brands that offer gift products, personal well-being, cosmetics, learning or ‘other themes that are always sustainable and that use recycled, recyclable or reused materials.

At the Christmas Market, let’s not forget the social part and we will do it through the BPAN SPAIN Association. It will be the protagonist in this social branch encouraging activities, voluntary financial contributions that will go directly to this association. Why BPAN SPAIN? In Hostalric there is a family whose daughter is affected by this neurodegenerative and minority disease.

The Christmas Market 3R is inspired by the theme of ants, a metaphor for conveying values and collaborative work. We have created an inspiring story, and a map that will be distributed at the Hostalric school, thanks to the collaboration of the AFA (Students’ Families Association). The idea is that the children who visit the market with their families will find it an interactive and fun activity, the fact of getting marks on their map thanks to the completion of small challenges that they will have to complete at each stop of the market.

The program of the day :

10:00 a.m. – Opening by the BPAN association and businesses

10.30am – Sermon by Helena Tolosa

11:00 a.m. – Creative workshops: family play spaces ( Brots ), botanical printing ( Kaya Botànica ) and transform your hair ( Aurora Ramos )

11:30 – First concert: Ker_Girlband

12:30 – Second concert: Ker_Girlband

14:00 – Closing and farewell by the BPAN association and businesses.
